Pact of the Stone for Warlocks

THIS IS A PERSONAL UPDATE DONE TO BALANCE THE MOD FOR MY PERSONAL USE, IT LIMITS THE AMOUNT OF TIME YOU CAN USE THE ELDRITCH BLAST FORM VARIANTS (NOT THE ELEMENTAL VARIANTS). THEY ARE LIMITED THROUGH A NEW RESOURCE CALLED ELDRITCH SURGE CHARGE WHICH YOU GET AN AMOUNT EQUAL TO HALF YOUR WARLOCK LEVEL ROUNDED UP AND RESTORES PER SHORT REST. IF YOU RATHER MAINTAIN THE FREE USE OF THESE VARIANTS PLEASE REFRAIN FROM UPDATING THE MOD TO VERSION 2. 0. 0. 2.

This mod is based on my previous mods for warlocks. To avoid major changes to the class, I've turned the feature I liked the most into a Pact. It should be compatible with other warlock mods but incompatible with my previous mods.

The Pact can be learned at level 3 like all others in vanilla BG3 or can be learned at Lvl 1 if you use the Pactbound Mod Patch.

All new spells granted by this mod have their own VFX

PACT OF THE STONE

Your patron grants you a transmutation stone called the "Eldritch Stone". The stone grants you a resource called Eldritch Surge charge that allows you to transmute your Eldritch Blast to deal other types of damage through a spell called Eldritch Transmutation. (covers all damage types except piercing, slashing or bludgeoning) You get an amount of this resource equal to half your level in warlock rounded up and it restores on short rest.

This can be further improved at later levels through other invocations that add new variants of Eldritch Blast.

• []If you have Pact of the blade (through other mods that let you pick more than one invocation) or are a Hexblade Warlock, you also transmute your Pact Weapon to change its damage type.

• []Empower your Eldritch blast to fire a number of beams equal to 1+the spellslot level. (same quantity of blasts as Scorching Ray)

  []Empower your Eldritch Blast Spell variants to increase its damage to 1d10 + 1d10 per spellslot level.

  []Empower your Eldritch Blast Weapon Spell variants to increase its damage per spellslot level.

• Empower your Eldritch Phantom Strike to increase its range and increase the amount of targets to 2 at Spellslot Level 3 and to 3 at spellslot level 5.

Quickened Transmutation

At level 5 you get the ability to use one Eldritch Surge Charge to cast your Eldritch Blast and its variants (including Eldritch Weapon attacks) using a Bonus action instead of an action (toggleable ability).
