Pact Boons As Subclasses (RAW)

Heads up! This mod is currently incompatible with the Compatibility Framework (ironic, I know).

I hate doing mod pages. This will get prettier and more informative eventually, but I need to stop sitting on this. Anyway, the goal of this mod was to get closer to a RAW baseline, so some vanilla invocations and pact boons have been changed to facilitate that. For example, pact weapons no longer use Charisma, that is a feature of the Hexblade. A Hexblade may now bind a hex weapon separately from their pact weapon and all conjured pact weapons benefit from the Hex Warrior feature by default for them. All melee weapons can be conjured as pact weapons. Pact of the Tome allows you to choose cantrips in CC. The list goes on. Until this page improves, if you really want to know how something is expected to work, everything functions RAW with a few exceptions I'll note a bit further down.

Because the passive replacement system in CC has issues and will only replace one passive (the first one you assigned from the list the first time you picked passives from it), I've only implemented one opportunity to do so at level 3 when you only have two passives, so you can have planned for and controlled which one will be changeable. This is also the first level that offers boon-specific invocations.

When you first take Book of Ancient Secrets, you'll get a temporary spell that allows you to choose your two starting rituals, but you need to do so before taking a long rest or lose the opportunity. Ritual spells can then be added to your Book of Shadows by dropping a scroll into your book. Rituals in your Book of Shadows appear in the 'Common' tab rather than your class tab in the action bar.

Invocations not included:

Ascendant Step (people are working on flight and levitation, so maybe one day)

Bewitching Whispers (not sure how to pull off a compulsion effect)

Eldritch Sight

Eyes of the Rune Keeper (the only translation checks I can think of are on the Nautiloid during the tutorial, so not much use for this)

Gaze of Two Minds (you already share vision with your entire party)

Master of Myriad Forms

Misty Visions (no vanilla implementation for silent image and I'm not sure what I'd do for that)

Visions of Distant Realms

Voice of the Chain Master (you already share vision and the rest of it isn't really feasible)

Witch Sight

Ghostly Gaze (Devil's Sight is just better in the BG3 context unless I can figure out a way to actually let you see through walls)

Gift of the Depths (maybe one day if someone ever lets the rest of us swim...)

Far Scribe (no real function in BG3)
