What is this mod?

This mod adds more colour choices for Skins (usually from experimenting to see what values do what) Including some with dark veins showing vividly. Inspired by BtVS Dark Willow.

But sadly since some heads "Veins" aren't veins in their textures the Dark Willow inspired ones won't look right for each head. Some examples of where the veins don't look right are in the gallery. Sadly nothing I can do material wise but you can edit the Blue Channel of the HMVY texture to edit the "Veins." I'm not really too great with face textures though but if anyone wants to make a separate mod page where you edit the veins and link here I am more than happy with that.

Click on All to see the options in game

How do I install this mod?

You can install this mod with;

BG3 Mod Manager

Requires the mods being dropped into your C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Larian Studios\Baldur's Gate 3\Mods folder

and then using this program to assign them to your Mod Profile.

then drag the mod(s) from the Right Panel to the left

then clicking the icon that says Save Load Order To File or Export Order to Game

Vortex

First download the mod manually or as a Vortex download.

If this step doesn't work add the mod to the BG3 Mod Folder in AppData

C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Larian Studios\Baldur's Gate 3\Mods (Thank you to Faitreaf for the comment)

Must be in .pak format + still zipped I believe (if not downloaded via vortex)

Enable the mod, then go to Load Order section

and hit refresh list or just select your profile again to make it refresh

and then hit deploy mods once happy with your load order.

Manual

You can find mod settings in: C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Larian Studios\Baldur's Gate 3\PlayerProfiles\ProfileName

and place the .pak here C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Larian Studios\Baldur's Gate 3\Mods folder

For Mac users you can still find it in the original locations.
