Oathkeeper And Shadowsoul

This mod was created for the 2026 BG3 Modathon Celestial and Shadows theme.

It adds two new custom longswords to the game.

Installation instructions

Extract the .pak file into your "C:\Users\User\AppData\Local\Larian Studios\Baldur's Gate 3\Mods" folder.

Main features

Oathkeeper: 6-22 1H Damage (Slashing and Radiant)

+3 Weapon Enchantment

Passive on Equip: Celestial Aura (Lathander's Light)

Unlocks Spells: Branding Smite and Shield of Faith

Debuffs: Grants Vulnerability to Necrotic Damage (I added a debuff so the weapon isn't too overpowered)

VFX: A radiant glow and a SourceLight that can dispel the first levels of the Shadow Curse.

Shadowsoul: 6-24 1H Damage (Slashing and Necrotic)

+3 Weapon Enchantment

Passive on Equip: Living Shadow

Unlocks Spells: Speak with Dead and Bone Chill

Debuffs: A Test of Will (Passive on Equip) -2 to Wisdom

VFX: Swirling Souls

Where to Find:

In the Tutorial Chest (You can use wesslens Tutorial Chest Summoning Mod if not doing a fresh start.)

Find it naturally during playthrough:

Oathkeeper: Act 2 ShadowCursed Lands, Isobel's room on a round blue table.

Shadowsoul: Act 2 ShadowCursed Lands, In the First grave on the right heading from the Grand Mausoleum Waypoint.
