Oath of the Songbird - Paladin Subclass

The Oath of the Songbird traces its melody to an ancient order known as the Seventh Verse — a traveling brigade of poet-knights who wander the realms to heal hearts, kindle laughter, and bring light where gloom has settled. Their origin lies in the legend of a nameless poet who became a knight. Having heard tales of a princess of radiant virtue, he fell in love with her from afar and swore an oath to meet her — not for conquest, but for devotion. By the time he reached the princess, he was mortally wounded. She cradled him in her arms as he spoke his final words — a song unfinished, a verse incomplete. His followers, moved by his courage and heart, called upon clerics of every land to bless his passing. From that day, they vowed to carry his ideals forward — binding their souls to a new oath that celebrates glory, love, laughter, and the unending song of life itself.
