I have made their version 2. 0 of the tool available here with no password protection. You can use this if it suits your needs better, or continue to use the web app linked below if you don't need the extra functionality.

Please refer to Permissions and Credits for the new rules surrounding using the BG3DF backend for your own projects. It's such a shame that members of the community can't be trusted to behave like adults, but I can't have my work associated with people like those mentioned above.

• []Search Baldur’s Gate 3’s audio files by dialogue, character and filename. Database contains all .wem files stored in SharedSounds.pak (point-and-click) and English.pak (everything else). Note that Spellvoice is not accurate at this time due to scraping limitations. The files are in the database but they will be missing most information.[/]

  []Download results in .csv format.[/]

  []Ability for the community to edit database entries to improve accuracy. No longer being checked or maintained.[/]

  Installation

  • []Online web app with edit feature here (recommended).[/]

    []Offline via Github or Nexus: Just download, run app.py (you need Python and Flask) and copy the link provided by your terminal into your browser. I'll update the repo with the live database every week or so.[/]

  • Update 04/18/25: Active development and maintenance of this tool has ended. The web app will stay up for as long as I remember to renew it (I get notifications). You can of course still download the tool and run it offline if you want to make your own edits using any SQL tool.
  Use Cases
  • []Modding dialogue audio in Baldur’s Gate 3. For example: Search for all Tav 1 dialogue lines, download them as a .csv for contained speech and filename reference when recording/creating replacers.[/]
