It is Unbalanced, Unhinged, and Unfair ... but feels great on a hot summer day.
The Mourning Frost is now the "coolest" staff there is! Just don't lick it, that would be bad for your tongue. 😋
Changes:
- rarity -> Legendary
- Weapon Enchantment +3
- Arcane Enchantment +2
You gain a +2 bonus to Spell Save DC and Spell Attack rolls.
- Heart of Ice now increases cold damage with the Spellcasting Modifier
( was constant 1 )
- Insidious Cold now uses the spellcaster DC
( was constant 12 )
- added Kereska's Favour - Frost of Dark Winter
- changed the staff's Ray of Frost to use a Bonus Action!
- ... oh, and an Arcane Battery for good measure.

As I was working on a more balanced Mourning Frost, I thought I would make a version with all the tools an Ice mage might need.
