This mod is for bastards.  Horse-punching bastards!

While Baldur's Gate 3 is basically in beta, I've "updated" many of its unique magic items with considerable power boosts.  I've also added five creations of my own to the mix.

- 1h mace, Cold Mountain

- ring, Ring of Storms

- shield, Blessed Shield

- heavy armor, Swift Wind

- heavy armor, Dargentaetus

Modified items:

- Amulet of Selune's Chosen

- Staff of Crones

- Ring of Color Spray

- etc., most of them.  You'll see ;)

This mod is a work in progress.  The games isn't even close to finished, so I can't even call it a mod, so much as a very interesting shiny coin in the gutter yelling, "Psst! Hey kid!  Want some magical powers?"  Speaking of that, many spells have been expanded to accommodate new spell slots.  Also, some spells have been reworked to create interplay that maaaaay be consider a bit overpowered.  Let's just say Ring of Storms + magic missile + a certain other item = I win button.

Because every patch seems to break mods, I didn't bother.  Instead this is a single loose file that you drop into your \steamapps\common\Baldurs Gate 3\Data folder, or the data folder of whatever platform is hosting the game (if mONGO is snuggled up next to Gustav, it's happy).  As such, it's not compatible with any mods that change items or spells, or, it may work, but the "real" mods will take precedent.  I'll turn it back into a real boy someday, but we'll see how the next few patches play out.  Also, the new items automatically come with any new character, but otherwise will sometimes show up on certain vendors.  If you want the new items for an existing save, you'll have to use something like cheat engine to get them.  I might shove them in barrel, backpack, or suspiciously bloated fish in some future iteration.

If we ever actually make it to the city of Baldur's Gate, I might even, maybe, kinda think about balancing these items and abilities with the rest of the game.  No promises.
