Mercurial Visage - Photo Mode Expressions

Part of the 2025 BG3 Modathon!

WHAT THIS MOD IS:

As the name suggests, some varied moods for your Tav's face! A set of 13 new expressions for Photo Mode, each with the eyes pointing straight-on and in the eight other basic directions (up, down, left, right, and the four corners), and a few one-off expressions that are mainly there for fun, which I felt didn't need to be looking around. They'll show up in their own categories towards the end of the expressions list! Not every direction is shown in each photo, as that would have been a little excessive.

They should work fine for most faces, though the more modifed your head is, the more chance there is for things to be a little weird, especially if you have a beard. The rig doesn't always play nicely with the beard bones. I tested them on my two faces and the in-game companions, so hopefully there won't be problems, but do let me know if you encounter any and I might be able to make adjustments.

INSTALLATION AND COMPATIBILITY:

This is compatible with pose mods out-of-the-box, as they don't alter the same file, but will need a patch for any other expression mods, which is included in the Compatibility Patch for Photo Mode Pose Mods. Load the patch after our mods for it to work, but otherwise, load order shouldn't matter.

  []Vena, Nikjima's female Tiefling: Hair is from Tav's Hair Salon, horns are from Aloija's Horns of Faerun, the leg jewellery is from baeator's Ornamental Leg Jewellery, and everything else is from private custom mods.
