📋 About This Mod
Description
Skills are one of the game's least developed features. This mod make Skills matter by assigning combat bonuses that grow stronger with points invested in them.
Every class can now chose any skill to be proficient in and all get to choose one expertise at level 1. Proficiency and Expertise now grant thematic spells to use once per long rest.
To ensure balance, all enemies get access to the same benefits. If you have MCM, you can choose whether NPCs should get feats or not and whether they should get the same skill bonuses players do.
All existing benefits of skills remain unchanged. This mod only add on new bonuses.
Deception (CHA)
“Your deception starts even before you say a word — you are faster than you appear. Proficient practitioners can deceive anyone into believing they are a friend. Experts can create mirror images of themselves.”

Persuasion (CHA)

✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Adds meaningful depth to skills, making them more than just passive checks.
- Thematic spells tied to skill mastery feel rewarding and flavorful.
- NPCs get the same treatment, so the world feels consistent and challenging.
⚠️ Cons
- Only 73 endorsements, so it's a niche mod with a small but dedicated following.
- Last updated in June 2026, but no guarantee it works with the latest game patches.
For players who want skills to have a tangible impact in combat and enjoy unlocking thematic spells. If you're a roleplayer who likes long-rest resource management, this is a solid pick. Skip if you prefer skills to stay out of combat entirely.
