Manual Cache Cleanup (Vortex)

Installation

• []Manually download the zip or archive containing the script.

  []Extract the contents anywhere except the Downloads or Programs folders to avoid permission issues.

  How to Manually Run the Script (Prefered)

  • []Right-click the file:

    Manual_Cache_Cleanup.bat

    ...and choose Create shortcut.

    []Drag and drop the created shortcut to your Desktop or any preferred location.

    []Double-click the shortcut to run the cleanup script.

    How to Add the Script as a Tool in Vortex Mod Manager

    Follow these steps to add the batch script as a custom tool in Vortex:

    • []Open Vortex Mod Manager and navigate to the Dashboard tab.

      []In the Tools section on the right, click the +" (Add Tool)" button.

      []In the Add New Tool window, configure the following options:

      []Name: Enter a descriptive name:

      Cache Cleanup Script[]Target: Set it to:

      C:\Windows\System32\cmd.exe[]Arguments: Use this full command line (replace the path with your actual one):

      /c "C:\full\path\to\your\script\Manual_Cache_Cleanup_Vortex.bat"The /c flag tells cmd.exe to execute the batch file and then close the window automatically.[]Start in: (Optional) The folder containing the batch file, if it uses relative paths.

      []Icon: Assign a custom icon file for the tool:

      MCCV.ico

    []Click Save to add the new tool to your Vortex Dashboard.

    Once saved, you can launch your script directly from the Vortex Dashboard by clicking your custom tool icon.
