Description

A set of Blender tools to help with BG3 modding. Easy to use for newbies, made to make our lives easier (and more efficient).

There's two major tools for now, which everything I make nests under:

Witch's Quick Tools (released!)

• []A floating UI you can drag & drop anywhere on your 3D viewport's workspace, with handy buttons for things that make for easier mode-switching, and tools that are helpful to be able to use across multiple modes.[/]

  Witch Tools (coming soon)

  • []This is an N-panel tool tab like most blender addons and has a growing library of tools for all kinds of things. Basically the main dashboard where a much more robust series of tools live.[/]

    Installation instructions

    In Blender, just go to Preferences > Addons > Install from your PC and select the . ZIP file

    Witch's Quick Tools - Official Release v1. 0. 0

    This is a floating UI for the workspace that you can move anywhere on the 3D viewport window. This tool's function is to nest a series of actions that are handy to have via quick-access, with some additional customization capability added in.

    • []For now, customization is centered around being able to reorganize its tools inside the dock & collapse sections for minimalism, but eventually I plan to upgrade this tool over time into a much more customizable style UI.[/]

    Tool Sections

    Mode

    • []Quickly / easily switch to any mode in Blender, from any mode.[/]

      []NEW: When an object is parented to an armature, you can now enter pose mode from that object without having to select the armature. When you exit pose mode through the tool, it will automatically revert back to the object you entered from.[/]

      []Click + hold, then drag/drop mode icons to reorganize in your preferred order.[/]

      []Click the cycle icon to cycle between modes in order (or assign this to a hotkey in preferences for fast cycling)[/]

      []Click the "last mode" icon (looks like an upload icon) to swap to the last mode you were in, or hotkey this in preferences for fast back-and-forth[/]
