This mod lets you kill the Tiefling children in Act 1 - all other acts are currently untested!(and a little unlikely to be added for the time being...)

This mod lets you kill anyone flagged as a child. Now supports Act 2 and 3 - you can replace the old mod! Compatible with existing saves.

Installation

This mod probably* requires Full Release Mod Fixer by Norbyte - please follow the instructions on that page! I had it installed while I was testing things. If you’re on this site, you probably have this one installed already.

Extract the pak file from the zip file.

From there, you can use LaughingLeader’s BG3 Mod Manager to install the mod.

You could probably use a different mod manager or install manually, but this is beyond my skills to explain :/

Limitations

There’s a lot of code from dead ends in here. For example,I tried editing some things in the game’s levels files. I can probably trim down the size of the file a bit.

I also tried (and failed) to replicate an old implementation from the Killable Children mod in DOS2 DE by BowShatter(https://www.nexusmods.com/divinityoriginalsin2definitiveedition/mods/68 ) - I failed horribly. While their mod covers all children - there doesn’t seem to be a port of it for this game. For the time being, I wasn’t able to replicate however they did things. Compared to their mod though - mine works mid-save!

There’s probably an Osiris command I can use to find all children and remove immortality from them all, but I’m happy enough to release a first version now.
