Jedi Weapons and Kyber Crysal

From Wookiepedia:

Force-imbued blades were solid metal blades that required no power source, and that glowed with the power of the Force coursing through them.... Imbued with the Force, the blades were preternaturally strong and sharp, being capable of cutting effortlessly through most materials...an initiate would place a crystal into the hilt of the blade, and then would marry the lattices of the crystal and the blade together ... Once the lattices were married, the wielder would channel energy through the crystal and into the blade until it began to glow with a nimbus of energy...

Now your character can wield a Force-imbued blade, also called Jedi Katana! This blade will glow, become lighter and do more damage once your character concentrates and imbues the blade with the power of the Force - just as described in the sacred texts!

How do you ignite the Jedi Katana?

Your character will have a new ability called "Imbue Force Weapon". This will "ignite" your Jedi Katana and allow it to do more damage. Remember, it is a concentration ability, so you can only concentrate on one weapon (or other concentration ability) at a time. Why does it require concentration? Because a Jedi has to focus on their connection to their weapon in order for it to channel the Force!

You can grab the Jedi Katana and a Kyber Crystal from various locations:

  How does the Kyber Crystal work?

  You can combine the Kyber Crystal with a non-magical melee weapon to create a new empowered weapon. Current supported weapons are:
