Inflexibly Forgotten - ReShade Preset

This is a preset for a universal graphics mod called ReShade (https://reshade.me) that can add color correction and postprocessing to any game. It's installed via an .ini file.

I'm not a fan of very bright and overbearing color presets or shaders. I have a preference for the look of dark fantasy games, like Dragon Age: Origins, so this preset leans towards that aesthetic, at least as much as possible without compromising the game's visuals too much.

The changes are trying to be very subtle and noninvasive while fixing only the main issue I have with vanilla (oversaturated colors).

ReShade can be installed to and uninstalled from any game easily. Presets contain settings for configuring the shaders. This preset is for the default shaders that ReShade installs automatically.

This is the first ReShade preset I have ever made. Please let me know if you like it!

Installation Instructions

• []Download and unzip this preset (it's just an .ini file) and save it somewhere

  []Go to https://reshade.me/ and download the ReShade installer (just the standard version is fine)

  []Run the ReShade installer, and in the menu that comes up, select your game executable based on what version you use (bg3.exe if Vulkan, bg3_dx11.exe if DirectX 11)

  []On the next page, select your renderer based on the version you use (DirectX 10/11/12 if DirectX 11, Vulkan if Vulkan)

  []When it asks you to select a preset to install, choose the .ini file you downloaded from here

  []Leave the default boxes selected when it asks what effect packages to install ("Standard effects" and "SweetFX by CeeJay.dk")

  []Done! Just launch your version of the game (DX11 or Vulkan) and the preset should be enabled and active. You can press the Home key in the game at any time to open the ReShade settings and tweak or turn the preset off and on.

[]Select the same version of the game that you installed to (bg3.exe or bg3_dx11.exe)
