📋 About This Mod
Hey, I'm excited to share with you my latest mod that improves the internal robes item. You know, the one that you can only get by betraying one of your companions. Yeah, that one.
The original item was kind of disappointing, don't you think? It didn't really reflect the dark and twisted nature of the robes, or the power that they should grant to the wearer. Well, I decided to change that. I have added a new passive feature called Pact of The Blade. This represents the bond that you have forged with the You Know Who, who is also your patron if you are a warlock.
But wait, there's more! I have also added a free spell to the robes: Armor of Agathys. This spell creates a protective layer of frost around you, which deals cold damage to anyone who hits you with a melee attack. It also gives you temporary hit points, which increase with the level of the spell slot you use. This spell is perfect for the robes, because it symbolizes the cold and ruthless nature of your choice, as well as the price that you have paid in blood. This spell required spell resource so keep that in mind.
I have also Increased AC to 14.
I have created a version that includes only the AC 14 changes for those who prefer a more streamlined experience without additional features.
Improves the vanilla Infernal Robes in Baldur's Gate 3 by adding a Pact of the Blade passive and a free Armor of Agathys spell. For warlocks who want their pact reward to feel more impactful. Small but focused enhancement with 73 endorsements.
✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Directly addresses a common complaint: the vanilla robes feel underwhelming for the cost.
- Adds two useful warlock abilities, making the robes more viable in combat.
- Community-tested with 73 endorsements and 1,739 downloads, indicating a solid niche following.
⚠️ Cons
- Last updated in September 2023, so it may not be compatible with the latest game patches.
- Only affects one item, so it's a minor tweak rather than a major overhaul.
For warlock players who feel the vanilla Infernal Robes are a letdown and want a more rewarding pact reward. If you're a completionist or enjoy optimizing your character's gear, this is a quick win. Skip if you're not playing a warlock or prefer full overhaul mods.
