Immersive World Textures

What this mod does

Not a brute-force upscale. This pack rebuilds 965 textures (terrain, vegetation, architecture, clutter, creature skins, blood splatters...) with the most powerfull upscale tool available: Topaz Labs Gigapixel AI, using model-appropriate settings for a cleaner, sharper look.

• []AI detail recovery, not “resize + sharpen”: Edge-aware upscaling that preserves fine geometry (stone edges, wood grain, foliage veins) while removing compression noise and avoiding halo artifacts.[/]

  []Consistent color & clean mip chains: Rebuilt mipmaps to reduce shimmering; correct sRGB handling and export in BC1/BC3 for crisp, artifact-free results.[/]

  []Albedo/BaseColor only: Normal/physical maps are left intact—AI upscaling those typically introduces lighting errors without real in-engine gains.[/]

  []Strict 2× resolution: (1K→2K, 2K→4K). Beyond 2× shows minimal visual return vs. heavy VRAM cost, so this pack targets the sweet spot for clarity and performance.[/]

  Compatibility

  • []Don’t stack with any other texture upscales. BG3 Texture Upscale Project (BG3TUP) for example which is inferior and not recommended.[/]

    []Vivid Landscape serie is the one exception. I removed every textures included in it as I consider it as essential. I highly recommend to install both mods, the order doesn't matters.[/]

    Performance

    Expect higher VRAM usage than vanilla; a modern GPU is recommended.
