Hope Once More - Hope as an Endgame Ally

Made for Patch 8 - Hotfix 35

This mod is a collab between me (Milo!) and koboldJuno! Have hope once more, with our mod adding Hope as an endgame ally.

It started from me (Juno!) wanting to see Hope more. She is one of the main NPCs in act 3 yet not getting any content after House of Hope (While Valeria can be part of Gather Your Allies quest ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ ). Her unique passive - Last Hope aka self-deathward is also fitted as end-game buff too. If Arabella is powerful enough to grants us Freedom of Movement, it would also make sense if Hope could grant us Death Ward.

Funnily enough yesterday we found that Larian DID have similar idea but didn't implement it. The "Faith of the High Hall" buff is a similar Death Ward buff variant that might have been meant for Hope as an endgame ally, but there's no trace of it anywhere else in game files. It's quite possible that they planned to include Hope in Gather Your Allies, or maybe there's very early cut content cleric we would meet, or even just throwing out idea during brainstorm phase since death ward is one of the most important buffs (Another example: Arabella's Freedom of Movement).

In any case, it's unused, but if you want to take a look at it, here's how it looks; Faith of the High Hall (technical detail: END_ALLYBUFF_HIGHHALLHERO) - A grateful cleric has protected the affected entity with Death Ward.

We found this towards the end of making the mod, so this isn't actually a re-implementation of that buff, but it looks like Juno's idea was spot on for something Larian had planned!!

How It Works:

Once you free Hope and defeat Raphael, talk to Hope (This includes dialogue that automatically starts once the fight is done). You should get a quest update during the conversation confirming you've added her as an ally for Gather Your Allies. When you get to the High Hall, a projection of Hope will poof in after the dialogue where each other ally gives their lines in the speech, using the same VFX/SFX as Korilla/Raphael teleporting places. (Look, it's not easy getting your hologram out of the Hells! We can look past her being a little late.) When she teleports in, she'll give your entire party the Hope Once More buff - a version of the Death Ward buff with a new name and description to reflect Hope's quest.

If you install this mod after Raphael's fight and already talked to her, her Gather Your Allies journal update will be at the bottom.

She also has new dialogue in the endgame that reuses a couple of her rarer voice lines. (At least, they're rare to me ghfjrkgjkf)

Hope will not show up in the end
