Hit Dice RAW

Description

Introduces Hit Point Dice (aka: Hit Dice) brought into BG3 from the tabletop in a faithful manner and revamping the Short Rest system to accommodate these changes. Goal is to add a strategic depth layer to healing instead of a blanket 50% top-up.

Main features

• []Adds D6, D8, D10, and D12 Hit Dice as an Action Resource into the game with custom icons.[/]

  []Supports all vanilla and modded classes.[/]

  []Revamps the Short Rest system by removing the blanket 50% HP heal and adding in an action blocker that gives you a moment to use your Hit Dice to regain HP.[/]

  []Short Rest Full Heal ruleset option has been left untouched.[/]

  []Durable feat has been updated to provide 2 times your Constitution modifier as a minimum roll for HP restoration when rolling your Hit Dice.[/]

  []Bard's Song of Rest has been updated to apply the scaling health bonus to healing with Hit Dice during your Short Rest.[/]

  Installation

  • []Install with your choice of mod manager and activate.[/]

    []Best to load lower in the load order to make sure any Short Rest changes from other mods do not overwrite this one.[/]
