HGY Heads

WHAT THIS MOD DOES

Adds a set of new custom head preset options for different races and body types. Includes custom CC icons.

new head presets are available for elves/drow/half-elves/humans/tieflings, including a few options for all body types (bt1, bt2, bt3, bt4), as well as gnomes, halflings, dwarves, half-orc and githyanki (see images). there are 24 unique heads in total as of 1. 0. 0. 8; more may be added later. each face also has a custom skeleton and its own set of textures, as well as custom cc icons.

VFX files for spells (such as Speak with Dead) have been included in the pak and can work as a standalone, but require Patches for CC Mods (Patches_for_VFX_Heads file) if you want to use these with other head preset mods. Otherwise, they may conflict with other heads that use overrides.

One file version is for default vanilla textures/makeup/eyes. One is compatible with Eyes of the Beholder, one compatible with Unique Tav Custom Appearance, and one option is compatible with BOTH. Use only one file at a time! Please see those mod pages for instructions on use and load order.

since there were so many head models to deal with, they haven't all been tested extensively in game play, so please report any bugs. and if you decide use any of my heads, please feel free to share screenshots of your ocs! we love to see it~

TO INSTALL: Unzip the .pak file and place it into your Mods folder (C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Larian Studios\Baldur's Gate 3\Mods)

Use BG3 Mod Manager or other mod managers. (i don't know how vortex works)

Drag mod from right to left column, then SAVE load order to file and EXPORT Order to Game.

  !! Set ANIMATION LEVEL OF DETAIL to HIGH in your visual settings to prevent floating heads !!
