Helm's Armory - Shield and Longsword for Paladin Cleric

This mod adds the sword and shield from Helm's statue in the Stormshore Tabernacle as equippable items, perfect for your Paladin or Cleric.

These are optimised UVs with textures hand edited by me. The models are on the blocky side since they were originally meant for a statue, but I think they look pretty good.

As of v2, this mod also has a unique heavy armour item using the Scale Mail Paladin model. All vanilla body types are supported.

As well as Wine and Revelry Satyr Race, Ghastly Ghouls Skeleton race, Half-Dragon BT3, and Jason are supported.

If you want different stats, it should be compatible with mods such as Transmog Enhanced Revamped, Auto-Transmog, or Cosmetic Slots.

The items are in the  Sorcerous Vault, in the same hidden chest as Foebreaker.

However, once a worldspace has been loaded every treasure table is set, so you would need to restart the level in its entirety to regenerate chest contents. For this reason I have also placed them in the Tutorial Chest, in case you already played through that level or just want the weapons earlier.

You can use a mod like Tutorial Chest Summoning or Immersive Tutorial Chest Spawning to access the tutorial chest at any time.

Known Issues

- The Blade Ward effect can fire off on 'temporarily hostile' characters you initiate attack on, same as the 'Reviving Hands' gloves. This is not really fixable with how the game classes Ally/Enemy/Character.

How to Install

Recommended that you install with BG3 Mod Manager. A guide to BG3MM installation of mods can be found here.

To uninstall the mod, you need to resummon the tutorial chest, drop all the items and bags back in it, let the chest disappear, and save. Or use Mod Uninstaller. However, I do not recommend uninstalling any mods that add items mid playthrough, and I cannot help you if you run into difficulties because of this.
