Mod features

This mod restores the "Gale's Betrayal" camp event from Early Access. Ignoring Gale's requests to eat your boots will drive him to seek a solution elsewhere.

• []This scene is cut content that isn't in line with the full release game's story. Even if you probe into Gale's mind to learn what he did, it will never be mentioned again. I restored it for those who wanted to experience it for themselves in a (semi) immersive way.[/]

  []After this conversation with Gale takes place, he will no longer need magical items from you. Your shoes and magical garbage are now safe.[/]

  []You will not be able to learn about The OrbTM and Gale's downfall until Elminster drops by in Act 2.[/]

  []Gale will still permanently leave the party at the end of Act 2 if you never meet Elminster[/]

  How to unlock this scene

  This is a camp night event and will be unlocked a few days after these requirements are met:

  []Gale has been recruited[/]

  []Gale has asked you for a magical item and you ignored him or told him no

  Keep in mind: 

  • []Camp events always happen in order of priority, so this scene might not happen right away depending on other events you've unlocked (e.g., scenes like Alfira, your Butler, and the Dream Guardian will always happen first).[/]

    []If you tell Gale he can't eat your boots three times, he'll get fed up and immediately leave.[/]
