Female Dialogs For Astarion Gale Halsin Minsc Wyll

Patch 8 compatible, only the 'Big' versions required updating. The small work without changes.

This mod is intended to compliment other mods that gender swap Astarion, Gale, Halsin, Minsc or Wyll, like

Woman's World

This will change in the English version of the game pronouns like he/his/him/man to she/her/woman, purely in the text shown on screen or in the journal. It has no effect on the audio/voice acting in the game. Please check mods like

Voice Swaps

to alter the audio to use feminine voices.

This mod also does not alter the appearance of the characters please use a mod like those linked above for this.

Please note this is not complete, it is a first pass so far that addresses most scenes until the end of Act 2, but it also changes many in the rest of the game notably journal entries that can be located by searching for 'Astarion' or 'Gale'. As I continue re-playing I will update as I observe new strings.

The different versions of the mod for different characters are completely independent of each other, you can use one and not the other or all as you wish. Similarly they are independent of any other mod and have no requirements.

All Version

The all version of the mod includes all the others in one mod, so updates all male companions. You should remove any of the character specific versions if you use this, but it will not break anything to leave it. Your load order will decide how things resolve out, so simplest remove the character ones!

Mod compatibility

I have a report of issues with Database Cleaner if you find problems with the text in your game try placing my mod(s) above this in your load order.

Any mod that changes dialogs can conflict with these depending on load order but in some cases they always take priority for an undetermined reason.

Big and Small Mod Versions

Each mod has two versions, only install one of these, and only install one Big version if you have multiple characters installed.

Big

This version is completely independent of other mods and will always work, no matter other mods or other character versions installed. Put this mod above any other of these mods in your load order.

Small

This version requires either a Big version for another character installed OR another mod that alters game text like

In all cases put the Small version lower in your load order than the Big one or the above sort or mod.

Interestingly I find the small versions also work in Patch 8 with some other mods installed. For instance with only some voice changing mods they work, so try t
