📋 About This Mod

Reworks Great Weapon Master feat into 'Power Strike' and overhauls how it and Sharpshooter function

Have you ever been annoyed at how two-handed weapons with Great Weapon Master completely outshine single one-handed weapons and even dual-wielding? well what if it applied to all melee weapon attacks but had different values depending on what you used? well wonder no more cause this is basically what this mod does!

additionally I also apply similar changes to Sharpshooter mainly as a way to slap the dual hand-crossbow meta on the wrist

this mod was modelled after this one, so big thanks to VitruvianGuar as their mod served as both inspiration and as a basis for mine

GWM Changes Overview:Great Weapon Master has been renamed 'Power Strike', it retains most of its original functionality(meaning, the bonus attack on crit or kill) however instead of a -5 to attack rolls and a +10 to damage exclusively for two-handed weapons(and versatile weapons wielded with two hands) it does applies a -3 to attack rolls and a 1d6 bonus to damage rolls with one-handed weapons(whether single or dual wield) and a +1d12 for two-handed weapons(whether innately two-handed or versatile wielded in two hands)

The use of die as a damage bonus means more interactions with other mechanics, feats and class features whereas flat damage wouldn't interact with them at all

Bonus Attack has now been also changed: It no longer costs any actions but can only happen once per turn(also can proc on killing/critting allies, done for the sake of testing purposes but left it in cause why not), this should give melee Dual-Wielding a slight boost and make other set ups that also rely on bonus action economy more comfortable

Sharpshooter Changes Overview:

Name remains untouched, retains original functionality of ignoring high ground rules penalties, attack roll penalty is lowered to -3 like 'Power Strike' and damage bonus is also changed to 1d6 for one-handed weapons(hand-crossbows) and 1d12 for everything else

Again, the use of die as a damage bonus means more interactions with other mechanics, feats and class features whereas flat damage wouldn't interact with them at all

note that both feats still require you to be proficient with the weapon being used

Known Issues:

Feat selection screen is a bit wonky, purely visual and trying to find a fix but it has no gameplay impact

Should be compatible with anything that doesn't touch these two feats

Install with BG3MM, if using other mods that touch these feats load mine after them to overwrite their changes with mine(can't guarantee full functionality then though)
