📋 About This Mod
This mod adds dummy level descriptors to the game's class progression table. You are not supposed to take these levels - this is only a workaround to avoid crashes.
When should I use this mod?
In case you have an overridden experience table that has more levels than your class progression supports. For example:
- You can level up to 20, but vanilla game table implements progression up to 12. If you take level 12, the next level up will automatically try taking you to 13 and the game will crash. So, you have to level up to 11, take 8 levels in other classes and only after that take 12 in your main class;
- You can level up to 24. It is not possible to multiclass two level 12 classes in this case;
- You can level up to 40 and wish to multiclass with two extra classes. You have a mod that implements level progression up to 20. You have to stop at level 19 for your main class similarly to case #1 and cannot multiclass two level 20 classes similarly to case#2.
There are two versions of this mod - one adds level 13 descriptors and the second one adds level 21 descriptors (in case someone implements epic progression I'll add level 41 :D). Use only one of them.
Installation
Use BG3 Mod manager or install manually:

This mod adds extra level descriptors, allowing players to multiclass at max level in Baldur's Gate 3. It has 1,097 endorsements and 245,840 downloads, last updated in April 2024. A niche utility for high-level character builds.
✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Huge download count (245k) shows real demand for this feature.
- Simple concept—does exactly what it says, no bloat.
- Active author (updated April 2024) keeps it relevant.
⚠️ Cons
- Only affects max-level multiclassing; useless for most playthroughs.
- May conflict with other mods that alter leveling or class progression.
For BG3 players who hit level 12 and still want to dip into another class. Perfect for theorycrafters and completionists who want to squeeze every build option. Skip if you rarely reach max level or prefer vanilla progression.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Check if your mod manager (like Vortex) handles this automatically—just drag and drop.
- Load order matters if you use other class mods; place this near the bottom.
- Test on a save at max level to see the new descriptors appear.
