Drow Weaponry - Hand Crossbows

Description

New Drow Repeater Hand Crossbows. There's non unique one in uncommon rarity and unique ones; rare, very rare and legendary.

All share the same base game edited model, but all are dyable so some customization is possible.

They are designed for multi shot and close quarters. They have less base damage and range than base game but they gain:

-Repeater: It's a toggleable multishot ability, they can shoot one more time per action at a -5 penalty to attack roll.

-Close and Personal: All shots attack rolls gain advantage within 6m of the target.

Note that this passive won't directly remove the disadvantage penalty within 3m of all ranged weapons (They will nullify each other and you'll have neither advantage nor disadvantage), but if you have the Crossbow Expert feat that remove it, you'll have advatage on shoots within 3m too.

Both abilities will only work as long as only drow hand crosssbows are equipped as ranged weapons (either a single main hand one or drow hand crossbows in both hands). They will stop to work if you equip a normal handcrossbow or other modded single handed ranged weapons (like my drakefires).

Both abilities are activate on main hand only, but they will apply to your offhand ranged weapon too, as long as it's a drow hand crossbow.

Location

Uncommon generic hand crossbow isn't unique and can be bough at several traders: Brem at Zhentarim hideout (You'll need access to his special stock to buy it), Araj Oblodra on Moonrise Towers and Sticky Dondo on the Guildhall. There's also a (very small) chance to get them as random loot.

Unique weapons can be loot on the world:

-Dueling Crossbow: Inside a Heavy Chest at Lolth's Cultist's cache. Same one with the Drow Studded Leather Armour.

-Shadowy Stinger: Found inside a Gilded Chest in the Gauntlet of Shar library. Same one with the Dark Justiciar Helmet.

-Lolth's Kiss: Dropped by Viconia DeVir in the Cloister of Sombre Embrace beneath the House of Grief.

Installation

BG3 Mod Manager is recommended.

Use either the Vortex Mod Manager or the BG3 Mod Manager and install this mod.

Make sure you deploy your mods if using Vortex or export the mod list if using BG3 Mod Manager.

For Update just overwrite old version pak with the new one. If you want to be 100% sure everything goes smoothly do the following:
