Dream Guardian Clothing Options (Nude - Underwear - Dress)

Since I am not really playing the game anymore, don't expect any major updates. As far as I know, most of it works as intended and that is enough for me at the moment. If there is any game update that breaks it completely, send me a DM and I'll try to fix it.

Makes the Dream Guardian naked.

Unfortunately, this works only on new games and it will be bound to your savegame, so if you uninstall the mod your guardian will still be nude.

Additionally, the guardian wears the standard underwear each custom character has based on their race, so to make the guardian fully nude, this underwear has to be removed, making custom characters of the same race also start without underwear in their inventory (This does not work for githyanki guardians (I have no idea why)).

So, if you want your Dream Guardian to be nude but still want to get underwear for your character, you have to use different races for your character and guardian and only install the version of this mod that removes the underwear of your guardians race.

If you want the armor (or dress) of the guardian for yourself, there is an option too, as well as if you just want the guardian to use their dress/toga

Installation:

Put the 'Public'-Folder into your Baldurs Gate 3/Data Folder

This removes your guardians clothes but they will still be wearing underwear.

If you want your guardian to be nude, you have to replace the 'Equipment.txt'-File at 'Data/Public/Shared/Stats/Generated/' with the .txt file of your guardian's race (Delete 'Equipment.txt', move {race}.txt to 'Data/Public/Shared/Stats/Generated/' and rename it to 'Equipment.txt').

If you dont care about your characters underwear, you can also download the other main file, removing underwear for all races.

Technical Details

I tried to replace the Guardian's Armor with a naked body, which would have allowed an mid-save installation, however the body textures were not working and by now I am pretty convinced that it is impossible to that, at least with my knowledge or without proper mod-tools.

This mod now works by editing the Equipment list, the game uses on new games to assign armor and clothing to characters, so that no items are added. Since custom characters and guardians use the same sublists to assign underwear, it is not possible to just remove underwear from the guardian. The good thing about this method is that it should be compatible with almost every other mod (except for mods changing the default loadout of classes) and there shouldn't be any save-corruption issues.
