📋 About This Mod

Downed Condition changes so it's like DnD 5E: massive damage insta-kills you bypassing Downed, when Downed you don't lose your Action Point (if you didn't expend it), and recovering from Downed leaves you with the Prone condition.

List of Changes:

  • []Massive Damage that reduces you to 0 Hit Points will instantly kill you instead of leaving you Downed. Massive Damage is a damage amount that is higher than your currently remaning hit points plus maximum hit points. For example, if your maximum hit points are 20, and you have 10 hit points remaining currently, if you received 31 damage in a single instance, instead of becoming Downed you will be instantly killed. You can still be resurrected with the appropiate spells as usual.

[]When recovering from the Downed condition, you won't lose any Action Resources (Action Point, Bonus Action Point and Reaction Point) that you didn't already expend in that Round. This means you can get back into the fight quicker.

  • When recovering from the Downed condition, instead of instantly getting back on your feet, you will transition into the Prone condition with a unique animation (this will not make you lose a turn). You will automatically get back up from Prone when your next turn starts (or in that instant if your turn is at the same time as the character that healed you), but expending half your total movement speed to do so (unless you have the Athlete feat or a similar effect that directly makes standing up from Prone easier).

    Some of my other mods

All Summons have Help Action: Makes all summonable creatures (Ranger's, Familiars, Undead, Elementals, etc.) have the Help Action, as in DnD 5E. Also adds the

missing Hide Action to Animate Dead summons.

Winter's Clutches Tweaks: Adds Ray of Frost cantrip to the gloves, changes rarity to Rare and adds an icon for its passive feature.

Wet Status Rebalance: Rebalances Wet Status: now instead gives Disadvantage on Saving Throws against Lightning and Cold effects, Advantage on Attack Rolls by Lightning or Cold attacks, Advantage on Saving Throws against Fire effects and Disadvantage on Attack Rolls by Fire attacks.

Ranged Weapons Rebalance: Adjusts the range of each ranged weapon based on DnD's ranges and adjusts the damage dice of Short Bows and Longbows to match Light Crossbows and Heavy Crossbows respectively.

Dark Urge Bhaalspawn Lineage: Unlock the power of your Bhaalspawn Lineage as the Dark Urge! This roleplay and gameplay mod adds some spice to your Dark Urge playthroughs! A new Bloodlust mechanic that interacts with Dark Urge's unique dialogue choices along with a series of unlockable Dark Powers as you level up in

    your journey as a Bhaalspawn.

🤖 AI-enhanced — based on mod data

Downed Condition DnD 5e reworks the downed state to mimic Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition rules: massive damage bypasses downed and instantly kills, you keep your Action Point if not spent, and recovering from downed leaves you prone. A niche gameplay overhaul for players seeking tabletop-style mechanics.

✨ Key Features

Massive damage bypasses the Downed condition and instantly kills you.
When Downed, you do not lose your Action Point if you hadn't expended it.
Recovering from Downed transitions you into the Prone condition.
