Are your heroes looking a little too alive in Photo Mode? Did your loyal companion heroically fall in battle, only to mysteriously pop back up for the victory screenshot? Want to recreate the aftermath of an epic boss fight, tragic last stand, or suspiciously accidental camp "incident"?

Look no further!

Death Pose Photo Mode adds a large collection of in-game death, downed, knockout, and corpse poses to Baldur's Gate 3 Photo Mode, letting you create more dramatic, cinematic, and immersive screenshots. Whether you're staging a battlefield aftermath, telling a story through screenshots, or simply embracing your party's latest disaster, you'll have plenty of ways to pose your characters exactly as the situation demands.

From magical deaths and brutal combat finishes to peaceful knockout loops, camp sleep poses, and even Speak With Dead corpse positions, this mod brings the dead back to life—just long enough for the perfect photo.

Included poses:

- Generic, cinematic, downed, and knockout death poses

- Magical death variants

- Physical dynamic and stationary death directions

- Downed/knockout peace loops

- Cinematic dead, prone, supine, camp sleep, Speak With Dead corpse, and KO bed poses

Use BG3 Mod Manager, the in-game mod manager, or another BG3 mod installer that accepts .pak mods.

Manual install:

1. Copy pak file to: Documents/Larian Studios/Baldur's Gate 3/Mods

2. Enable "Death Pose Photo Mode" in the in-game mod manager.

3. Fully restart the game after enabling.

This package is table-only. It does not include animation banks, asset overrides, Script Extender files, or loose game-data files.

Tested target:

- Baldur's Gate 3 native macOS Steam install

Known limits:

- Full death animations are not included. Adding them through Photo Mode animation tables caused a black screen on the main menu during testing.

- EMOT_Pose_Dead_A/B/C/D/E/X/Y/Z are not included because BG3 filters those emotion-category clips out of Photo Mode.
