★ MOD OVERVIEW / SHORT SUMMARY

"Ruin has come to our realm..."

This mod fully implements the core mechanics of Darkest Dungeon's Stress System into Baldur's Gate 3. Your party members will now actively accumulate Stress from terrifying monsters, darkness, devastating critical hits, and the fallen bodies of their comrades. Reaching peak stress will force a desperate Willpower Test, pushing your characters into dangerous, uncontrollable Afflictions or inspiring them with legendary Virtues.

Over 260+ unique trinkets from Darkest Dungeon (including Ancestral, Crimson Court, and Color of Madness crystalline sets) have been meticulously recreated as Ring items. Due to the massive number of items, we cannot showcase every single trinket's detailed stats here—please discover their powerful traits directly in your journey! All trinkets drop naturally by playing the game under specific tactical conditions.

★ IN-GAME CONFIGURATION (MCM SUPPORT)

This mod natively supports the Mod Configuration Menu (MCM), allowing you to customize your gameplay experience dynamically in-game:

• []Enable Hardcore Stress品: Toggles the entire core stress system. When enabled, environmental dark zones and enemy crits generate heavy psychological pressure and activate the unique trinket drop pool.[/]

  []Enable Stress VFX/SFX: Toggles the floating visual sparks and audio cues that play upon stress gain/loss. If you find the frequent notifications too noisy or overwhelming during chaotic fights, you can comfortably turn this off.[/]

  ⚠️ A Note on Translations / Custom Floating Text

  Due to the sheer, massive volume of custom text strings generated by the procedurally shifting Affliction barks, Virtue prompts, and combat floating texts, the floating pop-up texts are currently retained in their original Chinese version. Complete English translation for these massive lines is currently unavailable. Thank you so much for your understanding!
