📖 What this mod does

In the morning after our Dark Urge's little mishap at camp, they are confronted by the companions.  Most of the time, Shadowheart and/or Lae'zel will hijack the scene while poor Astarion is demoted to silent observer at best or scapegoat at worst. The poor man barely gets a word in.

Now you can get the highly entertaining morning-after confrontation in its glorious Astarion-only version, regardless of who else is present. This mod allows him alone to chew you out over the mess you made.

Bonus bug-fix!

I also made a little bug-fix for one of the dialogue lines ("I am starting to scare myself.") as that one skipped the next set of dialogue options, leading to Astarion's following  "It had better not." being completely out of context.

The little fix is included in the main file as it's not needed in any other versions of the confrontation. The dialogue just doesn't branch that way in other scenarios. However, I am providing the fix separately, just in case (which case... I don't know. Maybe you're using other means to get the companions to not steal the spotlight from (y)our vampire boyfriend).

  []Drag & drop the .zip directly into BG3 Mod Manager. [/]

  []Save and export your load order.[/]

📝Technical Notes

• []Mid-Playthrough Safe: Completely safe to install or uninstall at any point except for the duration of the scene. Please uninstall outside of this particular night, just in case.[/]

  []Uninstallation: Simply move from Active to Inactive.  May require deletion if you use another mod that edits the same exact node in the file stated below. To return to scene to normal behaviour, moving the mod out of the load order is enough though as that part is handled by SE.[/]

  []Conflicts: The dialogue fix part of this may conflict with mods that edit the same node (CAMP_DarkUrge_MurderOfAlfira_GD_MorningAfter) in Public\GustavDev\Content\Assets\Dialogs\Companions\_Group_Discussions\_merged.lsf

  Also maybe not put both this one and the Always Gale version together in your load order. I don' t know what happens if you do. The game might just pick the mod that is further down in the load order if you take both.[/]
