Description

Tired of looking at BG3's beautiful loading screens and want to replace them with something objectively worse? In dire need of haunting your playthroughs with images that deal psychic damage? Is there a void in your soul where poorly drawn memes should be? Well then, wanderer, look no further. For with this mod, I bring you a fresh set of loadscreens to cycle through. Enjoy.

Loading text not included. For that, you need the  Unhelpful Screen Hints DLC.

Why does this even exist?

Installation

To install, drop the .pak in your Mods folder. If you're on PC, that's most likely here:

%localappdata%\Larian Studios\Baldur's Gate 3\Mods(You can paste this into your file explorer to jump to the folder)

Because this mod overrides base game files directly, it will replace your loadscreens as long as it exists in your Mods folder.

To uninstall, delete the .pak or move it out of your Mods folder.

Conflicts

This mod overrides the following files & will conflict with any other mod that does the same:

\Public\Game\GUI\Assets\LoadingScreen\loadScreen_BG. DDS

\Public\Game\GUI\AssetsLowRes\LoadingScreen\loadScreen_BG. DDS

\Public\Game\GUI\Widgets\LoadingScreen.xaml

Compatible with mods that override loading screen text, including Unhelpful Screen Hints (actually, I'd argue this mod isn't complete without Unhelpful Screen Hints 🤪 ).
