This is probably a mod that nobody except me wanted, but here it is anyway.
It's an empty named container for each companion to help keep their inventory organized. My companions often have mutiple bits of equpment that they switch between, and I never throw away their original clothes because it seems wrong somehow. (´ω｀*) The bags are for stuff like that so they don't get lost amongst loot.
Get it from the Tutorial Chest or Arron.
