Commoner Class - The Universalist

PATCH 8 COMPATIBLE

The Commoner is a brand new class and is my first mod for Baldur's Gate 3. The Commoner by default does not have any spells or extra actions. Instead his main features are:

• []Bonus Action Throw (Level 1)

  []Jack of All Trades (Level 2)

  []A Feat at Level 2 and then every even level (6 feats in total - double what a regular class gets!)

  []More skill proficiencies and eventually Expertise.

  By default, the Commoner is proficient in Light Armor, Medium Armor, Shields and Simple Weapons, as well as Constitution and Dexterity saving throws.

  Subclasses (short description, discover the rest for yourself!):

  • []Survivor: Determined to last through the adventure. You can get additional Saving Throw proficiencies, as well as unique defensive passives that will make your enemies hate you... and also fear you.

    []Magic Enjoyer: You get one warlock spell slot every short rest, eventually goes up to 3. You also get a new unique cantrip and the ability to learn a couple spells and cantrips.

  • Brute: No choices, but you get powerful abilities to get additional Bonus Actions and power yourself up in fights, as well as Martial Weapon proficiency. This is honestly like Champion Fighter.

    Installation: As usual. Unzip the .pak file into your Mods folder, activate preferably using BG3 Mod Manager.
