📋 About This Mod

Colorful Woe

I was testing a theory, if its possible to turn weapons dyable. Seems I was able to make it work, specifically on the Woe staff. Since it was working, I polished it up and thought to post it here, if anyone enjoys using the staff. The mod does not add Woe as a stand alone, just makes the already ingame one dyable.

When you first get the staff it will have the original colors. I handpicked the old color values as preset, as to not notice a difference in the most important cutscenes.

If you have/plan a standalone staff using Woe visuals and want it to stay dyable using my mod, you will have to keep in the stats .txt file either one of the following lines for it to work :

using "WPN_Quarterstaff_2"

data "ComboCategory" "DyableArmor"

How to Install

Download BG3 ModManager , after installation just drag my mod's .rar file into the application. Also install Script Extender. You can find a shortcut to download it in the Tools menu. The application also has a shortcut button to start the game quicker.

  • If you're using a mod manager, let it handle the file placement to avoid overwriting issues.
