Camp Clothing Converter

Convert any armour to camp clothing, or camp clothing to armour, or change the slot of any equipment to any other slot (e.g. make a shield use the amulet slot, or make shoes use the underwear slot)

How It Works

Your characters will all be given the Camp Clothing Converter spell container. To change the slot of your equipment, place it on the ground and cast any of the Camp Clothing Converter spells on it. After converting the equipment, just equip it and it'll be equipped in the new slot you converted it to.

There is a spell for the following equipment slots:

- Underwear

- Camp body

- Camp shoes

- Armour (body)

- Main hand melee

- Off hand melee

- Main hand bow

- Off hand bow

FAQs

Will the equipment get messed up visually?

It depends. From my testing, the only visual issues come from when non-weapons are put in weapon slots and camp clothing is toggled off, which sometimes caused characters to have no hands, hair, or feet. Otherwise, the game doesn't care if your character wears boots as a helmet, or armour as underwear - it will still appear the same visually.

However, some slots do influence appearance in other ways - for example, anything in the Underwear slot will appear even if you have camp clothing toggled off, just like normal underwear.

Does the equipment still give buffs?

From my testing, yes, equipment should still give the same buffs even if it's in a different slot. I only tested a few items, though, so I can't say all will work, but most should.

Will the equipment be changed permanently?

This mod remembers whenever you change the slot of an item and will persist it. As long as this mod is installed, your changes will remain. Otherwise, the slots of all equipment will reset to their original slots when the game is re-launched. Any equipment that was on any of your characters will still be equipped in the changed slots, but once you unequip them you'll have to re-cast the spell to change them again. This means if you want to reset everything you can just uninstall this mod and re-launch the game.

Why can't I drag this equipment into its new slot?

Equipment that have their slots changed can't be dragged into the slot to be equipped, nor will they show up as a list of options when pressing the new slot, until the game is re-launched or you go to the main menu and re-load the save. You have to either double click them or right-click them and press equip.

Does this mod work with weapons?

This mod allo
