📋 About This Mod
Please Respec before updating!
The most recent update includes a restructuring of the progressions file to improve compatibility with other Rogue mods for people who can't/don't want to use SE or Compatibility Framework. It should be fine, but you never know, and I'm not about to be held responsible for people's saves getting bricked.
Embrace your Roguish side! These five (you read that right, five!) subclasses have been brought to BG3 from Xanathar's Guide to Everything and Tasha's Cauldron of Everything (D&D 5e).
And, of course, Sumradagnoth once again did some absolutely incredible work on these icons, and I am absolutely blown away by these designs. What an absolute legend!
Because of how some of the features work in these subclasses, Uncanny Dodge has been reworked to use a reaction pop-up, rather than the weird toggled passive thing that exists in the base game. Now, like all my mods, some homebrewing needed to be done to get things translated properly to this game, especially since the game's engine doesn't allow for certain things to work as written in 5e (looking at you, Soulknife). However, I tried to be faithful to the feel of the subclasses, and used the source material to inspire these new (or adapted) abilities.
Now without further ado, may I present:
Whether you want to use these subclasses as a simple 3-level dip for some versatility or a pure Rogue, these subclasses add so much to your repertoire. Now for the features:
Psi-Bolstered Knack was such a headache, and it ended up not working properly when I tried to write it according to 5e. I now understand why Larian used the weird toggleable passive for ability check Bardic Inspirations (but that doesn't mean I like it). So, it basically functions like that. I put it in the same section of the hotbar as things like Metamagic and temporary spells, so that it wouldn't get completely forgotten and so that users would be able to see it and remember to turn it on or off. Maybe one day I'll come up with something that works better, but for now, this is what we've got.
I changed Steady Eye to not require the "half your movement" thing from 5e, since that's very specific and situational, and Insightful Manipulator had to be entirely homebrewed, but other than that, these features are basically identical to the source material.
I upped the range very slightly on Misdirection, just since the game isn't on a grid and it can get weird otherwise. And, since there is no Advantage on Initiative rolls in this game, I opted for a +5 at this level with Ambush Master, since it requires pretty heavy class investment to get to.
Soul of Deceit required some homebrewing, but other than that, everything is drawn directly from 5e.
Oh, what's that? You'

✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Solid community traction with 191 endorsements and over 31k downloads — clearly a mod people are using.
- Five subclasses in one mod gives you a ton of replay value for rogue fans.
- Themed around iconic D&D archetypes, so it fits right into a tabletop-inspired playthrough.
⚠️ Cons
- Description cuts off mid-sentence, so you won't get full details on the Soulknife or any install notes.
- No explicit install instructions or dependency list — you'll need to figure out load order yourself.
- Last updated in March 2026, but no guarantee it's compatible with the latest game patches.
For Baldur's Gate 3 players who love rogue class fantasy and want more D&D 5e options. If you're a tabletop veteran or just want to play a detective or psychic assassin, this is for you. Skip if you prefer vanilla subclasses or want major gameplay overhauls.
