BG3 Mod Manager Redux

Baldur's Gate 3 Mod Manager Redux is a community fork of LaughingLeader's BG3 Mod Manager.

It keeps BG3MM's familiar profiles, Active/Inactive workflow, package handling, and load-order foundation, while adding a redesigned interface, stronger organization, built-in diagnostics, downloads, save management, native-mod tools, Nexus Collection importing, custom themes, and a much broader set of review and recovery tools.

Redux is currently in public alpha.

Redux is developed and maintained primarily by me. The main workflows have had a lot of testing, but I cannot realistically cover every mod list, Windows configuration, archive layout, display setup, or combination of features on my own.

Bugs should still be expected.

If you find something, the quickest way to get it in front of me is to open a GitHub issue or join the Redux Discord.

Please keep backups of anything important while using alpha builds.

What's new in 0. 1. 0-alpha. 16. 4

Alpha. 16. 4 is a fairly large update, especially for Saves, Downloads, Nexus Collections, and first-time setup.

• []Save Game Manager overhaul — new resizable details pane with screenshots, location, game version, party portraits, levels, races, classes, mod counts, clearer metadata, warnings, context menus, and save/campaign ZIP export.[/]

  []Save Mod Review — compare the mods recorded in a save against your installed library, see missing or inactive requirements, and optionally activate selected installed requirements with Undo support.[/]

  []Nexus Collection Importer — browse collection files, filter and select what you want, compare them against installed mods, follow download progress, revisit recent collections, and save supported BG3 load orders for later use.[/]

  []Download Manager overhaul — cleaner package rows, better thumbnails and metadata, streamlined toolbar actions, separate Downloads / Installed / Archives controls, and clearer bulk deletion behavior.[/]

  []Inactive organization now persists automatically — inactive ordering and separators are saved as Redux organization without changing your active BG3 load order.[/]

  []Reworked Welcome Setup — live appearance previews, guided mod/load-order practice, organization setup, optional starter separators, and introductions to Saves and game-directory mods.[/]

  []UI and accessibility refinements — improved manager layouts, sorting/filtering behavior, context menus, responsive toolbars, keyboard labels, modal behavior, Reduce Motion support, icons, themes, and more.[/]

  []Mod database expansion — hundreds of additional UUID-backed recognition entries plus corrected dependency aliases and refreshed Advisor category evidence.[/]

  Redux is still recognizably BG3 Mod Manager.

  You have Active Mods, Inactive Mods, Override Mods, profiles, saved load orders, drag-and-drop ordering, and the underlying BG3MM package workflow.

  The difference is everything built around that foundation.

  Redux is aimed at making larger mod setups easier to organize, understand, recover, and maintain without quietly taking control away from you.

  Downloading, installing, activating, saving, and syncing are intentionally separate actions.

  • []Downloading a package does not automatically install it.[/]

    []Installing a normal PAK does not automatically activate it.[/]

    []Editing your active order does not automatically save it.[/]

    []Saving a Redux order does not automatically change BG3's modsettings.lsx.[/]

    Sync Load Order to Gam
