📋 About This Mod
So, you want to go Unarmoured. There's this new leopard thong mod that's to die for but...that Adamantine armour gives you 16AC plus 2AC Dexterity, plus damage reduction, plus no critical hits...and you fall, you fail your ideals, you equip the dang armour.
Never again!
1. Unarmored Defense uses your Strength and Constitution modifiers. Why? Better synergy. The Monk relies a lot on Wisdom, but does a Barbarian Half Orc or Dwarf need or even want Dexterity? Besides, if you can use your Dexterity to avoid a blow, you can use your Strength to block it, shrug off you opponent, etc. You're a Barbarian. More smash is good.
So you mini max, and you're starting the game with the same AC as Laezel in her shiny armour. Or maybe you role play and you've taken some Wisdom or Charisma for Intimidation checks instead of the flipping Dexterity because your AC is still ok. You're feeling good. A little guilty about using a mod, but mostly good. Let's get your scantily clad self even better:
2. Eager for Battle: when wearing no armour, gain 1 extra action and 8 additional mp on the first turn of combat.
3. You've got these Barbarian Clothes, and they're not so bad now: +1 to Strength and Constitution Saving throws, but you want more... Mawwr! Come and get it, then, you big bad Barbarian:
Equipment Changes:
Bloodguzzler Garb: every hit you take gives you 2 turns of stackable Wrath, and 1 turn of Bloody Defense: all the blood on your body makes you pretty darn hard to see and hit effectively, so you're Blurred. Sadly, every time you take damage, you start Bleeding for two turns. C'est la vie.
Cap of Wrath gives you Wrath at 50% hp or less, and when you get below 30%, you start a new Rage at no Rage Charge.
Reason's Grasp: not only gives you 15 hp when you stop raging voluntarily, but +5 to Wisdom until Long Rest.
Linebreaker Boots: Also grant you Charge.
Enraging Heart Garb now can raise your Constitution to 24 instead of 20
All of the above are working, though the descriptions are NOT showing up in the right place. I will fix soon.
A small balance mod for Baldur's Gate 3 that improves midgame Unarmoured Defense and boosts early Barbarian gear. With 16 endorsements and 564 downloads, it's a niche pick for players who want more viable unarmoured builds.

For Barbarian players who feel unarmoured builds fall off in Act 2 and want early gear to stay relevant. Skip if you're happy with the vanilla balance or prefer full overhaul mods.
