📋 About This Mod
While I was previewing BG3, I read a lot of commentary about how Half Elves got the short end of the racial stick. I'm not going to argue that case here. What I will do instead is offer a version of the Half Elf that lets the player customize their heritage to the extent that I am able: To wit:
On Character creation all Half Elves:
Lose default Human Militia.
Gain: Natural Diplomat. Your Human ingenuity enhances your Elvish charm: add half your Intelligence Modifier to Persuasion checks.
Gain Of Two Worlds: your Elvish sensitivity deepens your restless Human mind: add half your Charisma modifier to Insight checks.
High Half Elves
Gain High Elf Weapon Training: Glaives, Scimitars, and Longbows.Choose a Wizard cantrips (Intelligence)
Get Proficiency in Arcana.
Wood Half Elves
Gain Elvish Weapon Training
Choose a Druid cantrip (Wisdom)
Get Proficiency in Stealth (no extra movement, sorry).
Drow Half Elves
Get Drow Weapon Training: Shortswords, Rapiers, and Heavy Crossbows
Can choose a Bard Cantrip (Charisma)
Get Proficiency in Perception (no more Faerie Fire and Darkness, sorry!)
