My goal here it to make Darts
something different than just a crappy Dagger, which used to be just a crappy Short Sword...but if you use my Better Weapons mod, you know that those dark days are in the past now. So it is with Darts!
Are simple melee weapons with the light and thrown properties, which means you can dual wield them.
They do 1d4 Piercing damage. Are sheathed on the hip.
They have Gap Finder ability, which allows them to ignore Piercing Resistance.
Unlock Distracting Sting, which allows you to Distract a target for 2 turns. Once per Combat. Thrown only.
Unlock: Just a Pin Prick, which causes bleeding for 2 turns. Once per Combat. Thrown only.
Darts have been added to various vendors. There are +1 and 2 versions scattered around.
Sting of the Asp:
Causes Poisoned on damage and does +1 Poison damage. +1 Magical Very Rare. Available at the Zent underground hideout.
Crimson Dart:
This returning Dart causes Gaping Wounds on damage and can cause Blood Sapped for 2 turns if the target fails a Constitution save. +2 Magical Weapon Very Rare. Available at Araj at Moonrise.
