📋 About This Mod
This mod is extremely simple: It lets the player ask Astarion about his scars during his conversation with Raphael in Last Light, even if they already have the flag that they know.
For those not aware, a dialogue branch is available while speaking to Raphael in Last Light if the player hadn't seen Astarion's scars yet, and he removes Astarion's shirt to show them to the player. It's pretty cruel, but it's really interesting to me and it's a shame that most players who like Astarion will never get to see it. HOWEVER, THE PROBLEM: the flag is applied to the entire party. I wouldn't be surprised if there was a more elegant solution to this, but this was the simplest one and it's not like it's intrusive.
The reason why I made this mod is because I was doing a run with multiple Tavs (I don't know if actual multiplayer has the same problem, although I wouldn't be surprised,) and was annoyed that something I wanted to be a formative moment was blocked off because the other Tav had slept with him. So, I poked around, learned it wasn't difficult, and got to work. Yes, I wasted hours of my life for a 2 minute dialog. I regret nothing, it was interesting.
(Also, this mod was a personal edit so I only touched the version where Mol is present. Finally updating this after 4 months to say I'm not gonna get to making alternate versions - sorry for making false promises.)
Compatibility
This mod edits the HAV_MolsDeal_Lanceboard_ThreeWay.lsf file, and should be compatible with anything that doesn't edit that file.

✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Fills a real gap for players who missed the scar dialogue on their first run.
- Tiny mod, no bloat—just does one thing.
- Recent update (August 2025) suggests it's still maintained.
⚠️ Cons
- Very niche—only affects one dialogue moment, so most players won't need it.
- Low endorsement count (35) means it's not widely tested.
For Baldur's Gate 3 players who want to guarantee they see Astarion's scar conversation with Raphael without replaying the whole act. Skip if you're not a completionist or don't care about that specific dialogue.
💡 Beginner Tips
- If you're using mod manager, make sure to load this after other dialogue mods to avoid conflicts.
- This mod only affects the dialogue option—it doesn't change Raphael's scene, so you'll still need to trigger the conversation normally.
- If you're on PC, you can manually drop the file into your Mods folder; no script extender needed.
