Adventurer's Go Bag

This is my first ever mod for any game. I'm not highly skilled at this sort of thing, nor am I imaginative enough to come up with something people are likely to want, so I figured out what I wanted on my second/third/fiftieth playthrough and put together a bag of that stuff.

This mod adds an "Adventurer's Go Bag" to the tutorial chest. The bag contains a handful of items that any smart adventurer would want to have handy, including some tool kits, a shovel, a bar of soap, some clean underwear and a nice outfit to wear once they've reached town.

Clearly someone carefully packed this bag before being captured, and the squiddies tossed it in the chest to examine further later.

I probably won't be editing this mod or making changes, unless it breaks, but it's a pretty simple mod, so you can make your own changes if you so desire (see below). You might be able to talk me into variants that contain your preferred starting objects if you politely ask in the comments (and it's actually possible - some unique items can't be put in a go bag).

Installation: Use the BG3MM to install like most other mods, load order shouldn't matter.

1 - Download the mod

2 - Run BG3MM or other mod manager

3 - Import the zip file

4 - Move to active mods

5 - Save/export mod list

6 - Run game and enjoy!

No other mods are needed, as this mod uses all in-game assets so there are no dependencies. If you are having issues, however, ModFixer is always recommended.

I do not use Vortex, and I cannot troubleshoot it if you have issues.

To Uninstall:

Drop the soap, clean underwear and backpack itself before uninstalling, as they won't exist in the game files once you've uninstalled. Everything else should be fine. There's an excellent Mod Uninstaller that can assist if you run into issues.

Customizing this mod:

You'll need a mod editing tool, I recommend ShinyHobo's Multi-Tool at https://github.com/ShinyHobo/BG3-Modders-Multitool and a text editor. You can use a fancy code text editor like Notepad++ or something, but I just used a standard editor.

Take the .pak file and do a drag-and-drop into the multitool to unpack it. You'll see three folders under the main one, you want to go into the one named Public, then GoBag, then Stats, then Generated. In that folder there's a text file called TreasureTable.txt, and that's where most of the magic of this mod happens.

The first entry in this file is four lines that basically tell the program to put my GoBag into the Tutorial Chest. You can ignore that, or change it, or add more places. You can add a new treasuretable that puts it into Arron's inventory by adding this:
