[Fighter Blueprint] FF-S3 Saberfish [Mobile Suit Gundam]

The FF-S3 was a modification of the earlier FF-3 Saberfish atmospheric fighter for use in space. A cooperative development project by both the Earth Federation's Air Force and Space Force, the spacefaring version of the Saberfish carried four wing-mounted rocket pods that were each tipped with three missile tubes, giving the FF-S3 twelve missiles in addition to its standard armament of four 25mm machine guns. The Saberfish saw heavy usage in the One Year War between the Earth Federation and the Principality of Zeon. It served as a competent superiority fighter early on, though it found itself outclassed during the later stages of the war. The Principality of Zeon's introduction of mobile suit technology that could both outmaneuver and outgun the Saberfish quickly forced the EFSF to change tactics with their spacefighters. Saberfish squadrons were forced to rely on overwhelming numbers or hit-and-run strikes against vulnerable support ships rather than more traditional engagements. While the dominance of the FF-S3 Saberfish as a space superiority fighter was short lived, the fighter's legacy has lived on in other ways. More than a handful of the Earth Federation's best mobile suit pilots flew some of their first combat hours behind the stick of a Saberfish during the One Year War. // This build of the FF-S3 Saberfish was built by request for Ulrich_Rüstungsjäger. It is 199 blocks. I'll admit I'm not that familiar with the MSG franchise, but I think it turned out alright. Screenshots (besides the auto-generated preview image) show fighters at true scale - when you use this blueprint to produce fighters, that's the level of detail you can expect from the final product.
