Neytiri inspired hair

Description

This gives the player a fully customizable, first person friendly, Neytiri inspired hairstyle. It replaces a hairstyle of your choice. If you are unsure which one  you want to replace, use this guide made by casocki. The hair styles are at the bottom of the page. Fully functional on ikran etc too.

Installation

1. Pick a hairstyle that you want the hairstyle to replace, then download and unzip the folder, then move the 'blue' folder to this path:

Ubisoft users: Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\games\AFOP

Steam users: Steam\steamapps\common\AFOP

If it doesn't let you place blue in and merge with your existing folders automatically: open up your existing blue folder and the mod's blue folder, then move 'baked' into your existing blue folder. If you already have 'baked', repeat the same thing and move 'characterart' - repeat until you find a folder you don't already have.

To find the Ubisoft folder:

1. Go to your library and right click AFOP - select 'manage' > 'properties'

2. Select installation in the list on the left - Installation directory is where your folder is, you can 'open folder' here too.

To find the Steam folder:

1. Go to your library and right click AFOP - select 'properties'

2. Select 'installed files' in the list on the left

3. Click 'browse', it will open up your directory

Known Issues

 

• []From far away, NPC's wearing the hair may switch back to the default, I don't have a fix for this (afaik, i would have to recreate the model for each of the different load distance models which i just dont want to do rn lol, its not very noticeable unless you're looking for it)[/]

  []The hair also.. crinkles? sometimes, only in certain animations - though ive noticed this also happens with other hair mods, so not sure if there's a fix for that other than messing with weights for 5 hours.[/]

  If you're having issues getting it working, please join the AFOP modding discord, I rarely look at nexus outside of uploading and you're likely to get a reply there quicker (from me or others that can help) - there is a bot in the server that autobans accounts that are less than 48 hours old, please keep that in mind before joining
