Na'vi Weapon Decals

I mostly play this game in first person, so I thought "why not make some mods to affect the weapons that I'm looking at all the time?".  To that end, I made this mod to swap out the free-to-earn ubisoft connect "forest guardian design" bow decal with one of 6 different cave or mural paintings found around the western frontier.

INSTALL PATH

blue\baked\weapon\texture\decal\mtx_wpn_decal_navi_01 <-- drop only one file into the 'mtx_wpn_decal_navi_01' folder

when installing, remove the name of the decal that is in parentheses at the front of the mod name, so that the file reads 'mtx_wpn_decal_navi_01.dds'

this mod only affects bow decals, as I don't own any gun decals to edit

all images in this mod are pulled from the game's files directly, I only edited them to fit to scale and made some color corrections

weather, lighting, and the type of bow you are using play a big part in how these decals appear.  for the most part, they stand out very well and look best against darker wood types
