Jake Sully - face stripes and paint

About this mod

A lot of you have been asking me when I would finally release my Jake Sully mod after I shared him on my Nexus Mods media page.

I actually stepped away from modding a few months ago. I had lost my motivation for it and, after spending a long time creating mods, I decided that this was a chapter I wanted to close for good. I don't plan on returning to modding or creating any new mods in the future.

Jake, however, was the one project I didn't want to leave behind. I wanted him so bad to be in this game.

I had already spent months working on him, and even after I stopped modding, people continued asking me when he would finally be released. So despite not really having the motivation to come back, I decided to return one last time, finish preparing everything and finally share those months of work with all of you.

I figured that if so many of you were still waiting for him, it would be a shame to let all that work simply sit unfinished on my computer.

I'm a huge Avatar fan, so I put a lot of heart and time into trying to recreate Jake's look from the first movie as closely as the game allows.

This mod includes:

• []Jake's signature facial stripe pattern [/]

  []Custom bioluminescence inspired by his appearance in Avatar (2009) [/]

  []His characteristic eyebrows, recreated as face paint [/]

  []Custom eye color based on Jake's [/]

  []An additional face paint inspired by the paint Jake wore when he went to the Ikran rookery to bond with his first Ikran [/]

Because of that, it obviously can't be a perfect recreation of his face, but I tried to get his overall appearance and details as close to Jake as the game allows.

No AI was used in the creation of this mod. All in-game files, textures, patterns, and preview images showcasing the actual mod were created and/or edited manually by me.

This will most likely be my final mod, so I'm happy that I can at least leave the modding community by finally sharing a project that so many of you have been waiting for.

I hope you enjoy playing as Jake and that those months of work can now be enjoyed by more people than just me

Installation

[]Download Jake Sully version 3. and then open the downloaded - .zip file named JakeSullyv2[/]

[]Double-click the Jake Sully Files folder. [/]
