Fenryr's Material Editor

Fenryr Track Editor is an in-game CSP app for Assetto Corsa designed to make track track editing and texture work faster and easier.

You can adjust materials directly in-game, experiment with different setups, and save your own presets for later use. The app also includes a few built-in presets to get you started, with more planned for future updates.

Texture Overrides​Fenryr Material Editor supports texture overrides directly from the app.

For better organization, it is recommended to create a: "texture" folder inside your track’s extension folder.

The app can still copy images from anywhere on your PC, so using the extension texture folder is optional, but recommended for keeping your track extension clean and easy to manage.

Replay Cameras Reads and edits the active layout’s unpacked data/cameras.ini and numbered data/cameras_N.ini replay-camera sets. Cameras can be previewed, edited, captured from the current free-camera view, created, duplicated, reordered, or deleted. Camera sets can also be generated automatically using positions and ranges based on fast_lane.ai.

Spectators Reads and edits the active layout’s unpacked data/camera_facing.ini. Existing spectator sets can be adjusted, and new sitting or standing sets can be created from selected track geometry. The editor exposes count, sprite size, texture-atlas, and lighting settings, with an optional live preview of the selected unsaved set.

Track Setup​Before using the app on a track, simply press the Include button.

This prepares the currently loaded track for use with Fenryr Material Editor.

Installation​Method 1: Simply drag the downloaded .zip file into Content Manager and click Install.

Method 2: Extract the 7z file to assettocorsa/apps/lua

Planned Updates​More built-in presets, improvements, and additional features are planned for future versions.

Fenryr Material Editor is mainly intended for track modders and CSP extension creators who want a quicker and more convenient workflow for track editing.
