Apex Radar - live leaderboard and race log in one window

ONLINE: FUEL AND WEAR DO NOT WORK. EVERYTHING ELSE DOES. In online races, Assetto Corsa itself does not give apps the fuel and the tyre wear of the other cars. So they cannot be shown - not by this app, and not by any other one. Those two columns show dashes. Everything else works online: gaps, positions, compound, pit stops and the race log. Offline against the AI, all six columns work. Most leaderboards show you twenty cars. You are fighting three of them. Apex Radar shows the cars in your fight: the ones right in front of you, you, and the ones right behind. Drag the window taller and you get more of them, up to the full grid, at whatever text size you can read on your setup. WHAT YOU GET, PER CAR GAP How many seconds behind or ahead he is, right now. Updated ten times a second, not once a lap like the official split. Red under 0.5s, amber under 1.5s, white under 3s. FUEL OFFLINE ONLY. Litres left, coloured against your own load, so you can see at a glance who is running light and has to pit, and who is heavy and can stay out. TYRE Compound fitted, in TV colours. WEAR OFFLINE ONLY. Average wear of his four tyres, coloured against yours. PITS How many stops he has made, and a red block the moment he is actually stopped in his box. AND A RACE LOG Five lines that stay on screen until five newer ones push them off, so you can read them down the next straight. Who pitted, who came out, what tyre they came out on, the fastest lap of the race, and black flags. Events from cars far away from you are dimmed so they do not grab your eye while you are driving. DESIGNED TO BE IGNORED Nothing blinks. Colour only appears when it means something. There are no nationality flags and no team badges - they take up room and tell you nothing about the race. The whole point is that you can read it in the half second you have on the way into a braking zone, and then forget it is there. HONEST LIMITATIONS Online, rival FUEL and WEAR are dashes. Said again here because it is the one thing people get caught out by. The gap column goes to dashes below 20 km/h. If you are not moving, the gap figure becomes meaningless, and a meaningless number is worse than a dash. REQUIREMENTS Custom Shaders Patch build 2512 or newer. INSTALL Unzip into ...\steamapps\common\assettocorsa\apps\lua\ so that you end up with apps\lua\ApexRadar\ApexRadar.lua, then enable "Apex Radar" from the app bar on the right edge of the screen.
