Adaptive Auto Shifter

Adaptive Auto Shifter replaces Assetto Corsa’s basic RPM-based automatic shifting with a smarter and more realistic transmission controller.

Instead of shifting at a fixed RPM, the app reacts to throttle position, throttle movement, vehicle load, braking behavior and recent driving style.

The video demonstrates relaxed driving, adaptive upshifts, aggressive driving memory and intelligent kickdown behavior.

Drive calmly and it will shift early and smoothly. Push the throttle harder and it will hold gears, delay upshifts and perform intelligent kickdowns. After aggressive acceleration, it remembers your driving intent and avoids immediately shifting into a higher gear when you release the throttle.

• Content Manager recommended

INSTALLATION

1. Drag the downloaded ZIP file into Content Manager. 2. Click Install. 3. Start an Assetto Corsa session. 4. Open “Adaptive Auto Shifter” from the in-game app sidebar. 5. Enable the app.

RECOMMENDED ASSIST SETTINGS

• Automatic Shifting: OFF
• Auto Clutch: ON
• Auto Blip: ON

The game’s original automatic shifting must be disabled to prevent both systems from controlling the gearbox at the same time.

The app works best with sequential and paddle-shift vehicles. Compatibility may vary with heavily modified cars, unusual gearbox configurations or vehicles using custom transmission scripts.

This is the first public release. Feedback about shift behavior, vehicle compatibility and unusual gearbox behavior is welcome.
